I still can't believe how quickly I got it done; in less then 72 hours! I must admit, though, that I had everything cut and ready to go as much as I could.

I haven't had a problem with washing the treated printed on fabric at all. The important thing that I have read, from other users and the manufacturers themselves, is that generic inks for your printer has been know to fade and/or bleed. But if you use an HP or other main brand ink, you shouldn't have a problem. I have found that you can use bleached muslin just fine, but your picture will show up better and be more "defined" if you use a more tightly woven fabric then muslin or broad cloth.

This is the tutorial that I used and I found it very helpful. Many site said to iron your fabric onto freezer paper and then put it through the printer. But I didn't have any success doing this. Following the advice in tutorial, though, worked great! (But you must leave about 2" at the top of the paper, where it feeds through the printer, or it will get caught on the rollers and totally ruin your fabric. Trust me, I know this!).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Br25IEL6Ogc

Good luck with your quilt!
www.dewings.us/blog/Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04811005362513667448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4855183333834003804.post-79690928050255741672011-11-01T12:59:02.764-04:002011-11-01T12:59:02.764-04:00That is sew fun!
