It's giveaway day! Yay!


If you are here from Sew Mama Sew, then welcome to my little corner of the blogosphere! I do hope you'll take a few moments to make yourself comfortable and look around...and maybe even come back from time to time to visit and say hi.

Today is the official start of the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day where tons of blogs out there in blogland are hosting giveaways this week. Back before I had a blog, I stumbled across this and thought it would be a blast to be able to participate. I love it because you can find new blogs to follow AND win some cool stuff.

So here's what I'm offering this year:



A fat quarter bundle of some of my favorite Kona purples! We've got Pansy, Magenta, Dark Violet, and Hibiscus. They are even more gorgeous in person. I also will most likely throw in some fun quilting tools/other purple fabrics.

My giveaway is open to readers ALL OVER THE WORLD! =)

Also it will close Friday, December 16 at 5PM PST.

To enter all you have to do is:

1. Tell me what your favorite color combo for sewing/crafty projects is. (Mine is dark purple+gray)

If you feel so inclined you may do the following for bonus entries:

1. Follow my blog
2. Tweet about winning some awesome purple fabric from PurplePandaQuilts!

    Oh yeh, dark purple and grey are good, I'm starting to like purples since so many friends have purples as their favourite. Anything with grey is nice.

    Purple is my favorite color, but I rarely quilt with it. Not sure why. I'm currently into aqua, apple green, and red (my bee block colors).

    I like so many it is hard to choose. I like blue a lot so I tend to do a lot that includes blue. I like blue and yellow, especially if the blue is more of an aqua. I also really like purple and green together.

    Funny! As luck would have it, I am making my daughter a quilt in...purple and grey! With some other girly colors thrown in for contrast, of course. I also really like light green and yellow. Merry Christmas!

    I love purple with almost any color, but I think I'm feeling purple and red for my next purple combo! Though if I win these (which I totally hope I do since I love so many of the purple konas that I've actually not bought any because I can't decide!), well, these would be awesome wih charcoal or medium gray, I think! Check out the purple placemat from one of my recent posts - I bet it would be right up your alley! Thanks for participating in giveaway day, and congrats again on your awesome stocking drive - I've pulled a bunch of fabric and plan on making some when things are calmer next year, so I hope you do it again!     i love purple and grey too! i keep wanting to paint a room in my house those colors, but can't seem to settle on a shade. they are all too pretty!

    Oh... I hope it is okay that at this moment seeing your fabrics I would also go for purples and grey. Grey rather than black because the later one would be a too hard contrast. But otherwise I love the combination of blues and greens... and not very surprising also yellow to orange to red together :)
