The quilts are often so beautiful! It is amazing to see the creativity that is out there.
I get so many great ideas, patterns, and tutorials and meet great people on quilt blogs.
I read blogs to learn about what is going on in the sewing world, new fabrics, tools and notions. Favorite techniques and patterns. I have learned sew much from the blog community and made some friends along the way.
I like reading blogs both for inspiration and also for connection to people who have similar interests to me - I don't know anyone where I live who sews, and live so far away in my city from the various quilting stores that I never really get to them (seriously: 1+ hr by transit!) to meet people who are interested in similar things.

Because I'm nosey? lol. I like to see different fabric lines in action & colour combos I wouldn't use myself but am surprised to like, stuff like that. Triangles. I'm not really much for triangles as far as shapes go, but I need to make a triangle quilt eventually because I've seen so many of them around & I always just love them. Who knew?
